HOW WE GOT HERE.
We are two young mates with a passion. A hunger for connection. A drive to create change. Most importantly, a desire to care. Care for our youth. Care for those who need to be given the right opportunities in order to succeed. Care for the society we live in today.
Our voluntary work, employment with a disability NFP and self-employment as private support workers, initiated our passion for all things disability. Disability Awareness. Disability Advocacy. Equal Opportunities.
Buttons' motivation was fuelled by the youthful and passionate members of our community who bring fulfilment to the lives of young individuals who have a disability.
Quality and person-focused support. Genuine and trusting relationships. Participation in the community. Improved independence. Just having a role model. A buddy. A friend. We know this is what these young and passionate members bring. We've seen it!
Our service promises choice and control to each individual participant and support worker, ensuring that we represent both parties interests in the most appropriate way.
Participant fulfilment and support worker empowerment is at the core of our service. A service predicated on:
